The Rev. Candace Chellew-Hodge, author of the book Bulletproof Faith, and gay Christian pop artists Jason & deMarco participated in all three weekend worship services at Cross Creek on Saturday, September 26, at 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 27, at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.

Also, we had a special workshop and brunch on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with Candace Chellew-Hodge and a special concert on Saturday evening at 8:00 p.m. with Jason & deMarco! Tickets to either the workshop/brunch or the concert were only $20 per person — or tickets to both the workshop/brunch and the concert were only $30 per person, a $10 savings!
Displays from our partner organizations were available throughout the Holy C.O.W. weekend.
Candace Chellew-Hodge is a United Church of Christ minister and founder/editor of Whosoever, an online magazine for GLBT Christians.
She is an award-winning former television and radio journalist with 25 years’ experience including six years as a newswriter, reporter and editor with CNN.
Her first book, Bulletproof Faith: A Spiritual Survival Guide for Gay and Lesbian Christians, published by Jossey-Bass, is now available either by filling out the above registration form and paying via PayPal or by downloading the Holy C.O.W. brochure, printing and completing it and mailing it to us with a check.
Chellew-Hodge currently serves as an associate pastor at Garden of Grace United Church of Christ in Columbia, SC. She is also a spiritual director, trained through the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta.
