The vision of Cross Creek Community Church is to embody the ministry, message, and hope of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to empower people to become fully devoted followers of the God of Jesus Christ.Our Purpose Statement (1997):
The purpose of Cross Creek Community Church is to emulate the ministry, message, and hope of Jesus Christ by:
- Communicating God's Grace (Membership Development): Through word and deed, we will proclaim the good news of God's marvelous grace and abounding love and will invite all people to a lively and meaningful personal and corporate faith journey, acknowledging Jesus Christ as our gate to the realm of God while at the same time recognizing the faithfulness of other people who have other names for the gateway to God's realm.
- Celebrating God's Presence (Worship): Through corporate worship
and personal devotion, we will express love, gratitude, and adoration to God for all creation, for the work of Christ, the presence of the Spirit and the gift of grace.
- Becoming God's People (Spiritual Formation): Through exercising personal and corporate spiritual practices, we will intentionally seek to develop toward full Christian maturity, becoming fully devoted followers of God as revealed in Jesus Christ.
- Demonstrating God's Love (Justice and Witness): Through discovering and celebrating our God-given gifts and offering them in unselfish service, we will be servants of God in the world, extending the compassion, justice, peace, and presence of God as revealed in Jesus Christ in all our relationships, in our communities and throughout the world.
